Values I Support

Considering the grave threat to humanity posed by various forms of pollution, the current focus is undoubtedly on protecting our environment. Urban development can magnify the risk of environmental hazards. However, this should not overshadow the fact that sustainable development of the cities is still required for increasing the gross national income and revenue for governments as cities and towns are pivotal for such economic growth of the country or the state.

Hence, the main challenge is to achieve urban sustainability without much affecting the environment. The net impact of these environmental consequences depends heavily on how the development is managed. This would require building more sustainable cities or eco-friendly towns with adequate planning & by identifying the best means of making urbanization more environmentally beneficial and less destructive.

My Aim: Further development of Plano without affecting the environment, while still maintaining the suburban lifestyle that is greatly valued.

  • By carefully planning with very less lands (7%) remaining in the city.
  • By Investing in first responders and environmental personnel to keep Plano safe and healthy
  • By planning a comprehensive financial/budget for the city
  • Working with HOA's and city planning to ensure Plano maintains a suburban lifestyle.
  • By Promoting private/public partnerships to invest in the development of Plano
  • Cooperating with Environmental Health & Sustainability Department guidelines and add value to the existing service delivery to protect environmental health and support a sustainable environment under the following segments.
    • Environmental Healthcare
    • Environmental Quality
    • Sustainable Development
    • Industrial Pollution Control

City governance has certain social, political, and economic obligations. A well-planned budget is of utmost importance for any government to ensure economic stability and growth. When it comes to budgeting, identifying areas of weakness helps the administrators allocate resources in a useful and sustainable manner for ensuring the business & economic growth, administering the operation of public sectors, uplifting underprivileged sections of the society, and much more.

Investment and expenditure are some of the most prominent factors contributing to the growth of a city’s economy.

My Aim: Increasing the budget to a sufficient level for the upcoming fiscal year.

  • By listening to the market, grow, and adapt to what people are looking for.
  • By allocating resources in a sustainable manner for the economic growth,
  • By administering the operation of public sectors.
  • Uplifting the way of living underprivileged sections of the society.
  • Identifying the areas of improvement in different sectors.
  • Setting a genuine criterion to allocate budget for the different sectors

Plano is the City of Excellence. It, at its core, is a suburban city with a value system built on its community. Starting from a small & quiet farming community, it has transformed into a well-known city, which meets the growing needs of its smart people & offers an amazing quality of life, in parallel, holding its traditional attitudes and values.

My Aim: Maintaining the core conservative values

  • By cautiously moderating the changes while protecting traditional values
  • By maintaining the diversity in city of Plano
  • By being honest and transparent with all citizens regardless of affiliation
  • By promoting honesty, integrity, and transparency throughout the Plano government
  • By having a selfless desire to serve the community and understanding perspective
  • By educating the visitors, commuters and businesses the core values and beliefs of localities.
  • By maintaining and promoting the suburban way of living at Plano.

Plano has the hometown feeling and that’s very attractive to many. These values are quite compelling for many business to bring their culture and their people to our wonderful city!

Essential health care made accessible to individuals in a community at costs that they can afford. Better health is central to human happiness and well-being. It also makes an important contribution to economic progress, as healthy populations live longer, are more productive, and save more. Covid-19 is stretching our health infrastructure to limits and proactive interventions are needed at this critical juncture.

My Aim: Improving the Healthcare and Emergency services especially in the midst Covid-19 Crisis

  • By investing in first responders and environmental personnel to keep Plano safe and healthy
  • By providing essential healthcare services and medicines at very low affordable cost.
  • By restructuring an efficient and effective epidemic control unit.
  • By renovating the healthcare sector with advanced medical care.
  • By improving the quality of health services for the visitors and people of Plano.
  • By continuous improvement for the social welfare services.

I know that many Plano residents share a concern about the rush hour traffic in our town. Ever since companies such as Toyota and Liberty Mutual moved in, we’ve seen our traffic problem worsen. As much as we should celebrate job growth in our city, we cannot ignore the inconvenience on our city, especially when it is well within our city’s budget and capacity to remedy this!

In order to keep traffic under control and free flowing I would like to introduce the idea of underpasses and overpasses in the Plano West region to reduce the congestion. I believe the addition of short flyovers (such as Preston over TX 121 service road) would be great to remedy the traffic issue, and provide an easier commute for everyone in the area. We need to get our city to work on this issue as soon as possible to get rid the gridlock.

A reliable infrastructure to connect supply chains and efficiently move goods & services across borders is an important factor not only in economic growth of the country but also important to connects households across metropolitan areas to higher quality opportunities for employment, healthcare and education.

Hence, it has been proven that the transport infrastructure has added speed and efficiency to a City’s progress. Good physical connectivity in the urban and sub-urban areas is essential for economic growth along with the road safety which is essential to the well-being of people & communities. So, my aim will be to make the road transport safer for everyone & improving the city’s infrastructure through effective transportation.

My Aim: Improving the infrastructure and road transportation

  • By making the stringent laws regarding the road safety & and the sustainable development goals.
  • By enforcing new road safety laws such as speed limit.
  • By maintenance the traffic under control and building the safe roads.
  • By engaging the citizens of Plano regularly to ensure their voices are heard and listened to!
  • By ensuring supply of goods and services in efficient way with reliable infrastructure.
